The Topic was &#8220;Leveling Up about StartUps and Upstarts&#8221;. In the initial part of the program Prashanth narrated his choice of first job out of college, between IBM (offer of 76K) and Microsoft (33k).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>He asked his father for advice and after a brief exchange the lesson was:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose a great boss over more pay.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft\u2019s gain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And makes great sense for anyone facing similar choice in jobs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My takeaway : Choose a great team over VC money! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a lively discussion that followed including the 3M and 5Y laws of building a company.
