To make his point he quotes the findings of historian Will Durant &#8211; the author of The Story of Civilization &#8211; a labour of love that took him over 4 decades to complete. He writes &#8211; \u201c\u2026if you want to be focused at work, you need to remove all distractions from your physical and digital workspace.\u201d If you do not shape your own environment for success &#8211; your environment will dictate  your destiny. If you put yourself in challenging situations you are more likely to adapt than otherwise. He quotes Darwin. \u201cIt is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one contrarian view explored over 174 pages.
