We know we need to talk to target  customers as soon as we can, but we don\u2019t. We know we need to track key metrics &#8211; but we don\u2019t. We know we need to reach out to mentors and founders who have been there and done that &#8211; we don\u2019t. We know we need to engage with the press and basically invest in marketing (time, not necessarily money) but we don\u2019t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>But Why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How many books, blogs, videos, webinars and events have you attended, watched, read? How many notes were made &#8211; and how many followed? I found this article by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAo_DIABpIh6yLvha4V0sjpLej6pZ_4_Q6k\/\">Shreya Dalela<\/a> in Medium &#8211; and she put the number one reason as fear. Followed by the need to be perfect, your need to follow a routine and not wanting to break your self defined momentum, lack of planning, seeking validation et all. There are a thousand reasons why things will not work. Make a list of those that will and carry that with you &#8211; recommends Shreya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out her post.
