I have referred to Jason Cohen a few times this year as I read his blog at asmartbear.com. Jason is the founder of WP Engine and has quite a track record. As we try to fine tune our pricing in this piece in reference he talks about the pricing positioning – one that could potentially help you 8X your price. Super tempting.
Typical approach is to create a ROI calculator. Often times it is hard to come up with one and to make it believable.
Jason whips up a example where you charge 25% of the savings and that still sounds like a great opportunity. But then he flips the idea. What if you could convince them to spend more and generate result at the same cost/unit and define the value in terms of the customers existing value matrix?
