My most recent encounter with Guy Kawasaki was at the Elevate festival at Toronto last September where he was the closing Key note. My first was in 2009 at the CES at Las Vegas and what you always come back after meeting or seeing him is the level of energy he brings to what ever he does and his fundamental enthusiasm to share.
I am quite clearly a Guy Kawasaki fan and I happened to chance upon a brief live session he did on Linkedin day before promoting his new podcast ‘Remarkable People’. Around 7.40 he talks about this simple 2×2 matrix where in one axis you have Uniqueness and the other value and the way to be remarkable is to be on the top righthand quadrant – High in Uniqueness and high on Value.
It is a simple idea. But very easy to measure and peg yourself on.
